A real treasure for the communities of Southeastern Iowa. Along with their excellent repertoire and performances, Bob McConnell does a fantastic job directing and leading the orchestra. The organization's commitment to music education in SE Iowa is some of the best I've ever seen; offering elementary school tours in conjunction with the Artist in Residence program, children's concerts, music festivals, and a Young Artist Competition for aspiring high school musicians.
