So's I go and order an 8 piece, and specify grilled. From other KFC's, it pretty good. From this one, it's utterly inedible. I don't know who looked at that chicken, and thought "Yeah, this looks like it's good enough to eat", but they may need glasses.
They did however, give me a coupon for a free bucket, so they at least made it rightish.
Folks, if the chicken looks that bad, just tell the person ordering, and suggest something else. Don't ACTUALLY hand that out. Yuck.
Drive through is really inconsistent. I've ordered the same item maybe three different times. Sometimes I get the honey packets or nothing at all, or just a single butter packet in the box.
Plan on slow service. Doesn't matter what the time of day. Food is good for the wait
But, we weren't done, apparently, because I got home and realized I drove off with my drink! :O How embarrassing. Now, I'm a thief, so I called the store to let them know we'd be back in to buy our iced tea, but she was so kindhearted that she only reassured me that it was OK and was about to give me my meal but I drove off too quickly. :}
I use drive through always check your order before leaving, to make sure you have everything you ordered. I've had to go back before, they have left things on accident
Always wonderful service, here, imo, but today was unusual. I used a card that had a previous hold still on it from a hotel stay over the weekend /and/ a card that was maxed during the same time. I was confused as to why they wouldn't work, but she was very nice, of course, and I drove away feeling a little sheepish and very apologetic.
Goodness, I said, that isn't necessary but THANK YOU!! VERY sweet, as always, at this KFC.
